Do you have realize how much data Google collects from your search history and your activities in the devices? Every single search in the Google keep it as search history in your Google Chrome? Every action on your devices using your Google Account tracked. Your Location tracked and keep it in your Google Account as well.
Except for the data that Google collects from your activities, your Google Chrome it’s probably very slow at some point in the future.
The reason is that might be have lot of GBs of search history in your PC.
Today I would like to show you how can delete the Google search history or disable it from your PC and Android Mobiles.
How to delete Google search history from Google Chrome on PC.
So let’s see how can delete the Google search history from your Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome
- From the right top corner click in icon with dots (…)
- Click More Tools
- Click Clear Browsing data …
- We have 2 Tabs. Basic and Advanced.
- The Advanced Tab will give you more options of what you want to delete. For example you would like to delete Passwords that has been cached to the Google Chrome or Autofill forms.
Give attention to the Time Range. If you want to delete everything select All time. Unless select one of the options that Google Chrome give you.
- Read all the options from the Advanced tab and check what you want to delete.
- When you are ready click Clear data.
How to delete the Google search history from your Google Account.
Google account might be setup in various devices like your Mobile , your PC , the tablet that you have in your home , etc …
If you want to disable the search history from all devices then you should disable it from your Google Account.
- Login to your Google Account.
- From the left side click on Data & Privacy .
- Scroll down until find History Settings
- Click on Web & App Activity.
- Click on Google icon.
- Click Delete.
- Select the Period that you want to delete the search history.
That’s it. All the Search history until now was deleted.
How to delete the Google search history on Android Mobile
- Open a Google Chrome
- From the right side click on icon with 3 border lines.
- Select Settings
- Click on Privacy & Security.
- Click on Clear Browsing data.
- You can use the Basic or Advanced Tab.
- In Advanced Tab included more options for deletion.
- Select what you want to delete. Click Clear Data.
- In some cases might be get warning which ask you if should be processed with deletion for specific sites.
- It’s in your decision how you would like to proceed.
How disable the Location activity from your Google account
Sometimes Google account has the Google activity enable. That means it tracks your location anytime.
If you don’t want to have the Google activity enable then follow the steps to disable it.
- Login to your Google Account
- From the left side click on Data & Privacy .
- Scroll down until find History Settings
- Click on Location Activity
- Click Turn off and Pause.
How to stop Google from saving your online activity
Except from the Location activity google keeps the Web & App Activity of your Google Account. That means that track every single action that takes in your and has install your Google Account.
You can stop google to track any step of your activity with the following steps.
- Login to your Google Account
- From the left side click on Data & Privacy .
- Scroll down until find History Settings
- Click on Wep & App History
- Click Turn Off. Click Pause.
Google tracks almost everything in your account. However, you have the option to disable almost everything that tracks you from your Google Account or only specific services .
